Description
Poor Alexia. Just as she's about to enjoy some treacle tart at the ball, a vampire attacks her -- before they've been properly introduced. But as any vampire of good society should've known, Alexia was born without a soul, rendering those of supernatural inclinations completely powerless. Now Alexia has to explain the dead vampire to the dreadful Lord Maccon, head of Her Majesty's Bureau of Unnatural Registry in London. Lord Maccon may be both rich and handsome, but he's hardly an amiable sort of werewolf.
