Description
A small Tennessee town gained national attention in 1925 when a biology schoolteacher was arrested for violating state law and teaching Darwin's theory of evolution in the classroom. In a circus atmosphere of heat and humor, two American giants of the time, William Jennings Bryan and Clarence Darrow, locked horns in court on the question as to whether we are descended from the apes of a million years ago, or if we came from Adam and Eve. The real issue of the trial was, as Darrow insisted, the right of all people to think for themselves. This move re-creates the highlights of that historic trial.
