The Outlaw Canyon is a grim hiding place and somewhere within its mysterious boundaries lay the answers to the riddle of the disappearing cattle. The feud between Matt Springer and Wes Knudson began long before, on the Fortress Ranch, when they were growing up together. At first, the pair had small spats, then they fought over a girl. But now the fight has turned serious . . . it's about missing cattle. Matt knows Wes has to be mixed up in the mess, and that he is going to have to ride to Outlaw Canyon and settle the feud between them once and for all.
